Science Museum + UC Exploratório
A full day of science on both sides of the river — 18th-century instruments and cabinets uptown, hands-on experiments and the planetarium down by the water.
This program includes the UC Exploratório - Ciência Viva Science Centre of the University of Coimbra, the Chemistry Laboratory, the Cabinet of Curiosities, the Mineralogy Cabinet and the Academic Museum.
At UC Exploratory, you can access two activities: visiting the CriaAtividade space and watching a 360-degree film at the Hemispherium (Digital Planetarium).

This program DOES NOT INCLUDE the visitable spaces of the Palace of Schools (Joanina Library, Saint Michael's Chapel and Royal Palace). NO REFUNDS ACCEPTED.
Where and when to buy
You can buy your ticket online up to two hours before the time of the visit;
You can buy your ticket at the box office, subject to availability;
Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded;
You must show your ticket to one of the staff at the entrance to all the spaces.

Both venues can be visited on the same day in either order.
