Visit U.Coimbra

UC Community

Visits under special conditions for the people who make the University — staff, teachers, organic units and the events they host.

Who this is for

The University belongs first to the people who work and study in it. If you are part of the UC community — teaching or non-teaching staff acting in your role, an organic unit, or a governing body — you can request visits to the University's heritage spaces under specific conditions, outside the regular ticket programmes.

UC Protocol Groups

Booking requests for visits made by UC community staff in the exercise of their duties, and by the University's organic units and governing bodies — welcoming an official delegation, hosting invited researchers, or showing a partner institution where seven centuries of the University happened.

Write to turismo@uc.pt with the date, the group's size and context, and the spaces you would like to visit.

UC Congresses

If you are organising a congress, seminar, workshop or similar event within the UC community, your participants can visit the University's spaces as part of the programme — often the moment of the event people remember longest.

Request a reservation at turismo@uc.pt with the event name, dates and expected number of participants.
